The Peddler's Ultimate Greek Salad


This recipe showcases The Spice Peddler's Sail Around the Med blend. Sail around the Med adds floral, herby and peppery notes to the salad for a delightful finish. Serves 8 as a side dish.


200ml extra virgin olive oil

3 lemons, juice and zest

1 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon, plus 1 teaspoon Spice Peddler's Sail Around the Med

400g feta cheese

Handful watercress or rocket leaves

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

24 Kalamata olives, stoned

16 vine tomatoes, cut into quarters


Make a dressing, by mixing the olive oil, lemon juice and zest, sugar and 1 tablespoon of Sail around the Med.

Add the tomatoes, onion, olives, watercress or rocket into a bowl and mix.

Add the dressing and toss.

Place the feta cheese on top of the salad and break into use pieces.

Sprinkle the remaining teaspoon of Sail Around the Med as a garnish.

Serve with warm crusty bread or as a side salad.
